with your Certified Retreat Coaches Victoria FittsMilgrim and Karin Marcus

Are You stepping into the Unknown? Seeking a new direction? Trying to adapt to change? Finding your old Life doesn't suit you anymore?

  • Step away from the hustle and bustle of your day to day world – step into silence and open space
  • Step away from confusion and overwhelm – step into your inner knowing
  • Step away from the need to manage and control – step into the flow and ride the waves of Change with courage and grace

Green River Rafting Take a Heroine's Journey down the Green River, on the border of Colorado and Utah, following the same path of explorer John Wesley Powell in 1869. As we journey down this wilderness gem, exploring the currents and canyons, you'll discover a place to experience fun, adventure, beauty and support. Stepping away from your regular life and patterns, uncover new perspectives each day in Wisdom Circles of Empowerment. Learn to be more aligned with your Authentic Self, all while relaxing, playing, and celebrating in the vast beauty of this desert river wilderness!

Relaxing on the Green River

This six day trip (with four days on the river) gives you time to leave the world behind and the opportunity to increase your capacity to Be in the Flow – not just on the river, but throughout your life.

  A SPECTACULAR SETTING

In addition to the wonderful and super-capable river guides, you'll be led by Certified Retreat Coaches Victoria FittsMilgrim and Karin Marcus. Victoria and Karin are both experienced and compassionate guides to the kind of deep listening that fosters acceptance and visioning for your best life. In addition to being Certified Life Coaches, they have journeyed together as Retreat Coaches since 2005. Read more about Victoria and Karin.

Set aside as a national treasure in 1938, our 44-mile white water rafting trip begins at the "Gates of Lodore" located in Dinosaur National Monument on the Green River. We'll travel through some exhilarating white water rapids that will require expert navigation by our River Guides. Time to get wet, scream with delight and marvel at this sanctuary for bighorn sheep, deer and elk. At Echo Park, the journey through Lodore Canyon slows down a bit allowing you an opportunity to explore this breathtaking region in an inflatable kayak! Be the Captain of your own Boat!

Delicious river cuisine (WE ARE NOT KIDDING! You'll be amazed at the outrageous meals you'll be treated to on this journey!), inflatable kayaks, expert guides and a chance to take the oars all add up to plenty of fun while learning and practicing new skills. Guided on side canyon hikes, discover the hidden archeological treasures and geologic forces that carved this amazing land.

River Goddesses hamming it up Your job is to relax... let go and just Be. Whether morning journaling, beauty walks or a wild final celebration, you just have to come and be engaged! The all-women guides will take care of rowing you down this alternately wild and peaceful river, cooking your meals and taking care of clean up too!

  6-DAY / 5-NIGHT RETREAT

The beautiful Green, also known as the "Queen of Rivers" boasts a 44-mile stretch of whitewater rafting through Lodore Canyon, filled with excitement and beautiful scenery. We will encounter 800 foot canyon walls superbly crafted by Mother Nature of Precambrian Bedrock along with exquisite vermillion rock formations. Many of the exciting whitewater rapids were named by John Wesley Powell, who first discovered the canyon in 1869.

Our final day in Lodore Canyon brings us to the entrance of Split Mountain Gorge. Indian rock art and a diverse array of wildlife and incredible natural beauty combine to make this an amazing and unforgettable white water rafting retreat.

Women Empowering Women Retreats

Karin Marcus and Linda Marrical

Co-led by Karin Marcus and Linda Marrical    www.AssistedReleaseTherapy.com

It is our intention to create sacred spaces within which women can embrace their innate wisdom and cultivate their unique purpose. It is our belief that every woman has within her the divine potential and knowledge to blossom into a magnificent, realized human being. Women are the nurturers and healers of the world, but first they must learn to mother their own spirit. With our retreats, workshops, and products, we seek to support women in listening to their bodies, hearts, and souls, so that they can walk their individualized paths toward fulfillment.

By combining Linda Marrical's experience as an Asian Body Therapist and Karin Marcus' as a Certified Life Coach, we offer an East meets West holistic approach to personal growth. With Linda’s vast experience in acupressure, shiatsu massage, Chi Kung (similar to Tai Chi), Tibetan medicine, and her personal study of Taoism, she offers a new perspective into understanding how to dialogue with the body through breath, movement and touch. With Karin’s naturalist approach to embracing change and becoming environmentalists for our souls, she offers new avenues for women to access their inner wisdom and create an empowered and fulfilled life. The skills tools, and perspectives, we offer are further enriched by the life experiences of the women who join us on our adventures. It is the power of this sisterhood that makes the Pathways to Self Healing gracefully joyful, deeply heartfelt, and satisfyingly real.
